The main Calendly alternatives for B2B sales teams are Cal.com, SavvyCal, HubSpot Meetings, Chili Piper, RevenueHero and Microsoft Bookings. Calendly is still the default for personal booking links. The trouble starts when a whole sales team uses it: who takes which meeting, what happens to unqualified requests, and what reaches the CRM.
This guide sums up what Calendly offers sales teams today, compares the alternatives with their published prices, and lists the criteria that matter for B2B. It complements our guide to the AI appointment setter for B2B, which looks at booking from the visitor's side.
Where a personal booking link stops working
A booking link is perfect for one person. A visitor picks a slot, the event lands in the calendar, nobody writes three emails to find a time. For a sales team, four problems appear.
- Who takes the meeting. Leads need to reach the right rep by territory, segment or account owner, not whoever shares their link first.
- Who should not get a meeting. Students, job seekers and very small companies book demos too. Without qualification, reps spend calls on them.
- What the CRM knows. The meeting, the contact and the answers given at booking should land in the CRM without copy and paste.
- What the rep knows. A slot with a name and an email is not much to prepare a discovery call with.
Gartner's research on the B2B buying journey found that buyers spend only about 17% of their purchase time meeting potential suppliers. Every booked meeting is a scarce slot in the buyer's process, which is why these four problems matter more than the look of the booking page.
What Calendly offers sales teams
The Calendly pricing page lists four plans:
- Free: one event type, no round robin, no routing forms, no CRM.
- Standard: $10 per seat per month billed yearly, with collective events and HubSpot, but no round robin or routing forms.
- Teams: $16 per seat per month billed yearly, with round robin, routing forms, collective events, HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Enterprise: from $15,000 a year with a 50-seat minimum, adding Salesforce lookups for routing among other controls.
For a sales team, Teams is the real starting point.
The Calendly alternatives worth comparing
Cal.com
Cal.com is open-source scheduling infrastructure. According to the Cal.com pricing page, it is free for one user, $12 per user per month billed yearly on Teams with round robin, collective and managed events and routing forms, and $28 per user on Organizations, which adds sub-teams and routing by custom variables. It suits teams that want flexibility and a lower price.
SavvyCal
SavvyCal focuses on the invitee's experience: the visitor sees their own calendar overlaid on yours. The SavvyCal pricing page lists Basic at $10 per user per month billed yearly and Premium at $17, with round robin and collective links on both. It is a good fit for teams that book many meetings with busy executives.
HubSpot Meetings
If your CRM is HubSpot, Sales Hub includes meeting links: one personal link on Starter, team meeting links from Professional at $90 per seat per month plus onboarding, according to the HubSpot Sales Hub pricing page. The meeting and the contact live in the CRM by design. Our article on the HubSpot chatbot for sales covers what HubSpot does around the meeting.
Chili Piper
Chili Piper is a router first. It qualifies and routes inbound leads after a form, then shows the right rep's calendar. Plans start at $1,250 a month for 15 seats billed yearly, and its scheduling-only product, ChiliCal, costs $12 per user with a 200-user minimum, according to the Chili Piper pricing page. It is the strongest option for complex inbound routing, and the most expensive.
RevenueHero
RevenueHero sits between Calendly and Chili Piper: routing with weights, matching to the account owner and qualification from form answers, from a $79 monthly platform fee plus $25 per seat billed yearly, with HubSpot, Salesforce and other CRMs supported, according to its pricing page.
Microsoft Bookings
Microsoft Bookings comes with most Microsoft 365 business plans and lets you add several staff members to one booking page, according to Microsoft's documentation. It costs nothing extra for teams on Microsoft 365, but routing and CRM features are basic.
The criteria that matter for B2B
When you compare schedulers for a sales team, look past the booking page.
- Routing rules. Can you route by territory, company size or account owner, and change the rules without a developer?
- Qualification before the slot. Does the tool ask anything before showing the calendar, and can it send unqualified visitors elsewhere?
- CRM write-back. Do the meeting, the contact and the answers reach your CRM on the plan you would actually buy?
- Calendars and video. Google Calendar, Outlook, Zoom and Teams should all work, with the video link created automatically.
- Context for the rep. Does the rep receive anything beyond a name and a time?
That last point is where most schedulers stop. Our guide to pre-call planning shows how much a rep gains from knowing what the prospect asked before the call.
How to switch without losing meetings
Changing schedulers is mostly a matter of links. Before you switch, list every place a Calendly link appears: the website, email signatures, sequences, the CRM, ads and partner pages. Old links keep collecting bookings for months after a switch, so plan a redirect or keep the old event types open during the transition.
Then rebuild your event types with the new tool, one per meeting type, with the same durations, buffers and reminders. Recreate the routing rules in plain language first, and only then in the tool. Run both tools in parallel for two weeks on low-stakes pages, check that meetings reach the CRM with the right owner, and only then replace the links on your demo and pricing pages.
Finally, compare the two periods on meetings held rather than meetings booked. A scheduler that fills more slots with people who never show up has not helped your team.
How Nudge handles it
Nudge starts one step earlier than a scheduler. The Website Agent answers the visitor's questions from your pages while they read, qualifies them in the conversation, then offers a slot in Google Calendar or Outlook in the same thread, with the Meet, Teams or Zoom link created automatically. Booking rules, such as who takes which meetings and when, are set on the conversational form. Before the call, the Handoff Agent sends the rep a brief built from the visitor's own words. You can see Nudge book a meeting on the Website Agent page or try it from the home page.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Calendly alternative for sales teams?
It depends on your stack. HubSpot Meetings suits HubSpot teams, Chili Piper and RevenueHero suit teams that need advanced routing, and Cal.com or SavvyCal suit teams that want a cheaper, flexible scheduler.
Does Calendly have round robin?
Yes, on the Teams plan and above. The Standard plan includes collective events and HubSpot but not round robin or routing forms.
Is there a free Calendly alternative?
Cal.com has a free plan for one user, and Microsoft Bookings and Google Calendar appointment schedules come with their office suites. For team routing, every option is paid.
Which Calendly plan includes Salesforce?
According to Calendly's pricing page, the Salesforce integration starts on the Teams plan, and routing with a Salesforce lookup is on Enterprise.
Should a booking link replace a demo request form?
A booking link removes the back-and-forth, but it still asks the visitor to decide alone. Answering their questions first, then offering the slot, converts visitors who are not sure yet.
